Edward Vento, DBA, is an accomplished leader with a distinguished career spanning business administration, international trade, economic development, and government affairs. As the Executive Director of the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT), he is a driving force behind industry advocacy, regulatory transparency, and business growth in the Truckee-Tahoe region.

With over 16 years of service as a United States Marine, Edward brings a disciplined, strategic, and mission-focused approach to leadership. His military background has honed his expertise in operations management, team development, and navigating complex organizational structures—skills that seamlessly translate into his work in the private sector.

Edward has extensive experience in economic development, working with both small and large businesses to create growth opportunities, drive workforce development, and foster public-private partnerships. His work has played a key role in strengthening local economies by supporting business-friendly policies and advocating for pragmatic, incentive-based solutions over regulatory mandates.

At CATT, he has led efforts to expand membership, enhance professional training programs, and ensure contractors have a strong voice in shaping policies that impact their industry. He is a staunch advocate for voluntary compliance in sustainability and decarbonization initiatives, ensuring that innovation does not come at the expense of financial burdens on homeowners and builders.

Beyond his professional achievements, Edward is passionate about fostering career pipelines in the trades, supporting small businesses, and ensuring a fair and transparent regulatory environment. His leadership continues to strengthen the construction industry’s role in economic growth and community development throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada.

CJ Meert, Licensed Loan Officer for NV, AZ, OR, CA, CO, FL, and GA.  I have been in home- lending for over 20 years.  Currently a mortgage broker for Arbor Financial Group. Prior to becoming a broker with Arbor I was an Area Sales Manager for South Pacific Financial (2014-2020), Retail Sales Manager Inspire Home Loans (2020-2022) and Retail Sales Manager for Ameritrust Home Mortgage 2022-2023.

One of my life’s passions is golf and helping to grow the game of golf. I serve as the President of Northern Nevada Golf Association, Vice President of the State of Nevada Golf Association, President of the Hidden Valley Country Club’s Men’s Golf Association and on the Board of Directors at Hidden Valley Country Club.

My other passion in life is coaching. I’m an Assistant Coach for girls’ soccer at Bishop Manogue Catholic Highschool.

I’m married to Allison Meert, we have 3 children Tyler, 20, Reagan, 16, and Charli Jaymes 7.

Phil MacDougall is the President and Executive Director of the National Automobile Museum, proudly recognized as one of America's Top 5 automobile museums in the country. The museum showcases an impressive collection of over 240 rare and unique collectible cars, housed within expansive galleries, vibrant street scenes, and an outdoor pavilion. It also features accompanying artifacts and a private movie theater, creating an unmatched visitor experience.

With over 30 years of diverse experience in marketing and sales, Phil has established himself as a leader in various sectors, including sports, the electronics industry, and the travel industry. His track record includes successfully spearheading global product development initiatives in Asia and Europe, along with driving impactful sales and service initiatives in professional sports and state chamber of commerce.

Phil's influence extends beyond the museum as he has taken an active role in community development programs. He coordinated one of the largest delegations of business, civic, and political representatives from the West Coast to Washington, D.C., demonstrating his leadership capabilities. Additionally, he has served on multiple non-profit boards and has held the position of National Director of Conferences for the Annual FBI National Leadership Conference.

Phil and his wife, Sheri, are proud parents of three children and grandparents to eight, all residing in Sparks, Nevada.
